Experience in other biophysical techniques including calorimetry (ITC and/or DSC), circular dichroism, mass spectrometry is a strong plus. TECAN liquid handler experience and small scale protein purification a plus.

* Expertise in recombinant protein purification using chromatography principles (affinity, ion exchange, and size exclusion). Experience with using semi automated chromatography systems (e.g. AKTA / FPLC) sought.

* Ability to independently troubleshoot FPLC and other purification systems and protocols a plus.

* Good listener. Strong, concise, and consistent written and oral communication required.

Keyword Skills:
Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), protein binding assays, AKTA, FPLC, Protein Mass Spectroscopy, Analytical size exclusion chromatography, E coli expression, Isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC), TECAN liquid handler, Light scattering (e.g. MALS).
