Dear colleagues,
( a tip !) in case of fast sedimenting particles in aqueous solution , it is possible to exchange (partly) the water with D2O , so ( depending on the Vbar of the particle) the apperent s' and m will be reduced
and can be recalculated to water when when the k faktor D2O/H2O is respected. Due to hydration of the
particle adding sucrose or salt to rise the solvent density should be avoided.
Under 2000 rpm hard to avoid the processing of the rotor. meniscii become broader.
                                                                                                                        ariel
