Please find a publication where we measured vbar of heparin:
Pavlov G., Finet S., Tatarenko K., Korneeva E., Ebel C.,

Conformation of heparin studied with macromolecular hydrodynamics methods
and X-Rays scattering,

(2003), Eur. Biophys. J., 32 437-449.

Extracted from the text:
No significant differences are found for heparin diluted in or dialysed
against 0.2M NaCl and heparin diluted in H2O (20°C). The derived buoyancy
factor (Dr/Dc) is 0.530±0.008, corresponding to an apparent partial
specific volume of 0.467 cm3/g, which compares well with literature values:
0.50 in phosphate buffer, and 0.47 in NaCl buffer (Barlow et al. 1961;
Lasker and Stivala 1966).

Hope it can help

  Objet : [RASMB] partial specific volume of a glycosaminoglycan--"HEPARIN"

  Dear RASMBers,

      Could anybody kindly let me know the partial specific volume
  of a glycosaminoglycan--"HEPARIN", or the place to look for?
Protein-heparin complex exp. use it.
  The 3D structure is too big as an appendix, and it is on PDB, PDB
number=1HPN, a fullysulfide-heparin. Can I estimate the V-bar value?

       I would really appreciate any help on this regard
       Thanks in advance
  Best regards!
