[RASMB] Georgy Pavlov

Dear colleagues,

I am sorry to report that Georgy Pavlov passed away last wednesday.
Georgy developed original biophysical hydrodynamic approach, particularly AUC for characterizing polymers in solution - among others. He was passionate about his work and trained many students. I was lucky enough to obtain collaboration contracts for him in Grenoble, and to learn a lot from him about charged polymers such heparine, or amphiphilic polymers such amphipols...
But, above all, I was lucky to make a true friend of him, to benefit from his culture, his broad mind and his contagious enthusiasm.
I shall pass on messages of sympathy and tribute to the family,
