[RASMB] SEDANAL question

Dear RASMB,

In performing a multicomponent non-ideal fit using SEDANAL (ver. 693, and
705), the fitted scaling parameters consistently drift to their maximum
upper limit value when N, the number points between meniscus and base, was
increased from 500 to 1000 and above. This also was true if the initial
guesses varied significantly from a value of 9mls/gram.

What are some possible reasons that a fit would perform in this manner?

Thanks to all in advance for considering my question.
