[RASMB] Exceptional abstract call deadline extension for HYDROPROT 2011 conference - Institut Pasteur, Paris - july 2011

Dear colleagues,

After receiving several requests, the organizing committee has decided 
to extend the date of the abstract call of the 2nd *European Hydroprot 
conference* to the *8th of April*. All the abstracts received until next 
friday evening will be considered for oral presentations, however early 
submission (1rst of april) will be given priority. The organizing 
committee will grant a free registration and contribute to the travel 
expenses of the selected speakers. The conference will take place in the 
Institut Pasteur (Paris), on the *4th-5th of July 2011* (see 
http://www.pasteur.fr/hydroprot11).

This meeting has the objective to bring together scientists from all 
over Europe, interested in the field of macromolecular hydrodynamics, 
from aqueous solutions to living cells, and its implications for the 
understanding of biological processes. Keynote speakers have confirmed 
their participation and we will enjoy lectures by Philippe BASTIAENS 
(Germany), Martin BLACKLEDGE (France), José GARCIA DE LA TORRE (Spain), 
Martina HAVENITH (Germany), Sonia LONGHI (France) and Giuseppe ZACCAI 
(France).

Theoretical/demonstration workshops will take place on the *6th of 
july*, on topics such as light scattering/viscometry, fluorescence 
correlation spectroscopy, hydrodynamic modelling, ultrasonic 
velocimetry, dual polarization interferometry, ...

Registration (academic rate: 100 Euros, meals included) for the meeting 
will open at the end of April so keep an eye on 
http://www.pasteur.fr/hydroprot11.
