[RASMB] formic acid in the AUC

Hello All,

        I am interested in running some experiments in the AUC using a 
70% formic acid solution.  My concern in using such a harsh solution is 
the resistance of the charcoal epon centerpieces to this type of acid.  
I've tested the o-rings in 88% formic acid, and they appear to be 
resistant.  The aluminum cell housing should be fine provided the 
assembled cell is completely sealed.  However, has anyone ever tried 
using a strong acid like this with the charcoal epon centerpieces?
