[RASMB] Error in interference scan acquisition

Dear all,
we have encountered a strange error with our interference optics. During
our last experiment, we obtained scans that look as the following:
======== begin of scan file ===========
cm/pixel: +INF, xxx sample name xxx
P 1 20.3 1100 0000005 4.1546E05 675 1
-NAN 0.00000E+00
+INF 5.93972E-03
======== end of scan file =============
As it appears, the data (but for cm/pixel) in the scan header is correct,
so the machine does communicate with the software, and experimental
parameters are transferred correctly. But instead of the actual scan data,
two lines are written that may present some diagnostic information. Has
anybody seen this before and has an idea what these lines tell us?
The situation has somewhat escalated since then as the software cannot be
launched anymore and there seems to be a serious hardware error that is not
due to any of the boards.
The scan above might give us an idea as to the failure preceding the failure.
Thanks for any input,
Kristian
