[RASMB] Centrepieces - thanks

Thanks to all for the prompt and enthusiastic response about centrepieces.
There seem to be three options:
1. dry or desiccate; freeze for emergencies
2. grease
3. have at 'em with the sandpaper!

I will try these in order of increasing severity and let you know
how I get on.
