Hi all,

In order to analyze protein samples at higher (NMR) concentrations, the
previous XL-I operator used a modified a center-piece that was reducing the
path length from 1.2 to 0.4 cm.

After running two sets of sedimentation equilibrium experiments, the Mw
average obtained from the 0.4 path length center-piece seems to always be
about 3 to 4 times less than the Mw average obtained from a regular
center-piece.

Does anyone performed this kind of runs ? If so, do one needs to "adjust"
the data before analyzing then with Sednterp ? Multiplying the number of
fringes by 4 before calculating the Mw average did not change the results.
Also, no cell leakages from the modified center-piece were observed.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Emmanuel
