[RASMB] guanidinium-thyocianate

Dear RASMBers,

I am planing to do an analytical ultracentrifugation experiment with 
guanidinium-thyocianate in PBS 50 mM, and this compound
is not in the chemical compatibility list from Beckman.
I have the doubt if charcoal centrepieces and quartz / saphire glasses are 
suitable for working with this compound.
If there was a compatibility, could it be possible to work at 
concentrations as high as 6M with this compound?

Any suggestion will be welcome.
