Dear Karsten and colleages,
Lubrol PX or dodecyl-PEG-(9-10)ether is a detergent whithout
absorbance in the range 280-230 nm. We have used it for the
disaggregation of proteins (see the Harding et al. book 1992).
The CMC is about 40 microM.
