I’m so stunned by this loss. I will remember Helmut as an incredibly talented engineer who could explain the excitement of his nanoparticle work to even the biologist-types like me, and, of course, his sunny disposition and bright smile will always be in my
thoughts. I discovered the city of Berlin from him walking around with us, pointing out all the sites and explaining the history. He will be missed. <br>
