During filling you almost inevitably get some sample solution coming out around the fill holes and hence into the threads of the housing. <div>I guess I was wrong when I talked about using contrad for decontaminating cell assembly. Contrad is a detergent so most likely it's not gonna be that effective for decontamination. Bertrand mentioned about Vikron as decontaminating agent. I will try to buy it. At this point I have bleach solution. Does anybody know if that is okay with epoxy resin and sapphire? </div>

That means the components of the cell assembly will require decontamination followed by the experiment. Can anyone tell me if the centerpieces (Epon charcoal-filled) and the sapphire windows are going to be okay with bleach or contrad? I am more concerned about the centerpieces. </font><br>
