Aviv Biomedical, Inc. and Beckman Coulter, Inc. are pleased to announce

that an agreement has been reached to allow the Aviv Fluorescence

Detection System (FDS) to be installed into existing Optima(tm) and

ProteomeLab(tm) XL-A and XL-I analytical ultracentrifuges.  The FDS

enhances the performance of the XL-A/XL-I with an orthogonal approach to

sample characterization that provides the capability to measure the

behavior of an individual (fluorescently tagged) species in a

mixture.  <br>

Installation and verification of the FDS will be performed by Aviv

Biomedical. Beckman Coulter will verify operation of the XL-A/XL-I with

pre- and post-inspections. <br>
