The rotor will be fine. The rotor speed rating incorporates operation
with empty holes (which is the most stressful situation for the rotor).<br>

to leave a couple of holes empty when running the 8-cell rotor with
fewer than
7 samples (provided that all cells are balanced, of course). Would

damage to the rotor (warping and so on)? It wouldn’t be a problem to

a couple of empty cells in the unused positions, but I would like to
know if it
