[RASMB] Helmut Cölfen

Dear All,

I want to share with you some more pictures of our dear friend Helmut.
And I would like to express my deepest condolences to Steffi, Bianca and Manuel.  I hope you know how much this part of Helmut’s broad scientific and personal community loved and respected him.

My earliest memories of Helmut are during his postdoc with Steve Harding in the early 1990’s.  My fuzziest memories are of a unforgettable night out during the AUC meeting he organised in Potsdam in the mid-1990s when he took a bunch of us on a wild night out in Berlin which ended only as the sun came up.  My fondest memories are too numerous.  Helmut, we will always miss you.
