Peter, do you mean it only gets down to 55 microns with the diffusion pump
on or off?

Hi All

 

Our XL-A is having problems achieving vacuum. It pumps down quickly to about
100 micron, then slowly down to about 55 micron where it stalls. Can anybody
give me hints on how to go about troubleshooting the vacuum system.  I've
cleaned the chamber and cleaned and regreased the door seal.
