Dear rasmb members,
I still have  a SB-200 D  (not  E) Beckman guide. Even I am retired more than  20  years,  I  agree with Thomas  Laue that  even in the( E/or/D)- Beckman- guide 60000 rpm  is allowed to  use  for  the  12 mm  DS  centerpiece and  20000rpm for  the  6  channel equilibrium, 60000 rpm    may  cause  a  dis-formation  of  the   centerpiece…especially at  extreme temperatures. I myself  used  maximal 52000 rpm  for  the  12 mm  DS  centerpiece but maximal  30000 rpm  for  the 6 channels…
I like to  add that it is also  possible  to  run  sed-equilibrium  runs at the  same filling-hight
as  you  use   for  the 6 - channel…since  the cell-shape has no  influence for  equilibrium -  runs.  In case  of  equilibrium-runs  I used  often special DS-centerpiece  gasket (N° 327024 of   Kel-F) … ariel
