Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Principal Scientist, Biotherapeutics Biophysics (Multi-Specific Biologics) to join the Research Global Skill Center located at our US headquarters in Ridgefield, CT.

The Research Global Skill Center at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals in Ridgefield, CT is committed to expanding into the area of Protein Biotherapeutics. We are looking for motivated scientists to be part of an expanding department and being a very visible part of Boehringer Ingelheim' s global strategy.  The Global Skill Center is responsible for the design and generation of biologic therapeutic leads, including antibodies, antibody fragments and multi-targeting agents.  The NBE Unit works as cohesive team within a matrix structure, which provides opportunity to expand individual expertise and encourages collaborations.

The main responsibility of this position is to provide expertise and knowledge of biophysical characterization techniques and protein stability. This role has responsibility for providing expertise in the physical characterization of proteins i.e. aggregation, stability, solubility, viscosity etc. Experience with multi-specific biotherapeutics and understanding of high concentration liquid protein formulation is desired.
