[RASMB] Exchange of the control PC

Dear AUC user,

our 10 year old XL-A is still running with the first computer using the 
Beckman control software (Version 4.5) under Windows 95.
Now the computer seems to have reached the end of its life span.

We don't want to do the upgrade (costs 8367 Euro) and therefore plan to 
replace the computer by a new one and reinstall the old Beckman control 
software.

Does anyone has experience with installing the Beckman software in a 
virtual box?
Or does anyone has experience in running the old Beckman software under 
an OS different from Windows 95?

We would be very thankful for any help.
