[RASMB] AUC2010 Nottingham 12-16th September

Dear all

The schedules for the AUC2010 Conference (Workshops, RSC Hydration Meeting and Main Symposium) have now been finalised: http://auc2010.uthscsa.edu/index.php

 

Poster contributions are being accepted right up to the meeting although poster contributors selected for oral presentations to introduce their poster (5 minutes + 1 question) will be announced on Wednesday 1st September.  There will be a prize of £100 and certificate jointly sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry and Beckman-Coulter.

We look forward to seeing you at Nottingham in just over 2 weeks time!

Dear all,

Provisional schedules for the AUC2010 Conference being held in the heart of Nottingham at the Park Plaza Hotel are now on the website:

1. Workshops: Sunday 12th-Tuesday 14th September (1pm)

2. Royal Society of Chemistry Discussion meeting on Water, Hydration and Biophysical Properties, Tuesday 14th September (1pm -6pm): all registrants at the Workshops and/or Main Symposium may attend this for free.

3. Main Symposium (Wednesday 15th, Thursday 16th September).  

Please note the schedules may be subject to some adjustment over the next few days.  If you spot a mistake please let us know a.s.a.p!

 

The Conference Dinner is once again being generously paid for by Beckman-Coulter. It will be at the Rushcliffe Restaurant, Sutton Bonington on Wednesday evening and transport will be provided to and from the Park Plaza Hotel.

 

Presenting speakers/poster contributors:

In the case of contributions with more than one author, please can you let us know a.s.a.p. who the presenting speaker/contributor will be.

 

Poster contributors selected for oral presentation to introduce their poster (5 minutes + 1 question):
Will be notified shortly.  

(We will accept new poster contributions right up to the meeting - please email gordon.morris at nottingham.ac.uk if you wish to do so, although these cannot now be considered for oral presentation) 

 

Surcharge for late registrations
We are pleased to say that the 25% surcharge has been waived.

 

Last minute accommodation

Additional hotels and guest houses with contact details have been added to the list. The P&J Hotel on Derby Road have been particularly helpful to us in the past.

 

We look forward to welcoming you to Nottingham next month!
