[RASMB] flexibility as a change in sedimentation coefficient

Dear All,

I'm working on a protein complex with a loop region roughly in the middle that may be involved in the flexible bending of the complex.  Could I see this bending as a change in sedimentation coefficient in a velocity experiment?  Would a c(s) wormlike chain model be appropriate?  Any suggestions would be most welcome.
