Hi, James,

I can't speak to the appearance of the boundaries that you are seeing,  
but it seems to me that you have chosen the "bottom" of the cell  
inappropriately in sedfit.  By my eyeball, the bottom (blue line)  
should be set to about 7.2 cm, but it is significantly less in all of  
your fitting sessions.  You might retry your fits with the more  
appropriate bottom.
