Hi Bala,

in addition to Arthur's comments I would suggest to purchase a 3 mm
centerpiece and spacers for those cases where you want to study high
concentration samples. They are available from Beckman, Nanolytics (in
titanium), and I believe also from Spin Analytical. Nanolytics makes an
entire cell assembly specific for 3 mm centerpieces. If you purchase the 
spacers, you can use a standard cell housing with them.

The reduced pathlength in addition with the wavelength shift Arthur
suggests is a good way to keep Beer's law in check.
