[RASMB] Viscosity of D2O

Dear RASMBers:

Does anyone know a reliable source for the viscosities of D20 and D20 /
H20 mixtures at 20 degrees? The most recent paper that I could dig up
(Hardy, R.C. and Cottingham, R.L. (1949) J. Chem. Phys. 17, 509) lists
the absolute viscosity of 100% D20 at 20 degrees as 1.2514 cP. This
seems incredibly high and the values of s20,w that we calculate using
this number don't make sense. Although Sednterp does calculate density
changes associated with heavy water isotopes it doesn't implement
viscosity corrections. If we can get a reliable data set it would be
nice to have the viscosities in there as well.

Thanks,

Jim Cole
