Dear Joris,
we had the same problem some years ago and solved it by taking a standard
metal saw blade (from a hand saw) and cutting an appropriately sized piece
from it. Since the blades are made of hardened steel (which one might call
spring steel) you must use a triangular file to scratch it and the break it
by bending. The piece we made has now been in use for at least 4 years
without any trouble and it had been made from a worn out saw blade.
Hope that helps
Best wishes
Claus
