Dear Colleagues,

this to announce the extension of the data analysis software SEDPHAT to
include models for sedimentation velocity of reacting systems, both
self-association and hetero-association with any reaction kinetics and with
instantaneous equilibria.

The website describing SEDPHAT's features, for downloading and for the
on-line help system is
http://www.analyticalultracentrifugation.com/sedphat/sedphat.htm

SEDPHAT is a global analysis software. It permits the analysis of both
sedimentation equilibrium and sedimentation velocity in the same
platform. Global equilibrium, global velocity, and mixed global
equilibrium/velocity analysis can be performed. It also includes dynamic
light scattering analysis, and the analysis of isotherms (weight-average
s-values or Mw values as a function of loading concentration).

For sedimentation equilibrium, it features multi-wavelength and
multi-signal analysis, self-associations and heteroassociations, mass
conservation models, and systematic noise elimination. For sedimentation
velocity, the same interaction models are available (now including reaction
kinetics), as well as advanced hybrid discrete/c(s) models for global
analysis of stable species

Also, a new version of SEDFIT has been released, which can export data and
analysis parameters directly into SEDPHAT. See

Peter Schuck
