A Short Course in Sedimentation Velocity Analysis.

As a prelude to the Oxford AUC conference the NCMH will be running a one day course in sedimentation velocity analysis at Sutton Bonington. Two of the main investigators in this field Dr. Peter Schuck (NIH) and Prof. Walter Stafford (BRI, Boston), have both agreed to act as tutors for this course. This will provide an unique opportunity to work with two of experts in this field.

The course structure will be a morning of lectures on sedimentation theory and methods of analysis, with an afternoon of personal tuition by the course tutors and the NCMH staff. It is anticipated that participants will bring their own data: it is particularly encouraged that they bring examples of data that have previously proven difficult to analyse. Samples showing aggregation, non-specific or otherwise, are particularly encouraged.

There are 8 places available on a first-come-first serve basis. The cost (per participant) is £250 (Academic) and £500 (Industrial). There is a 10% discount for booking before 1st February 2004. An additional charge is made for accommodation at Sutton Bonington on the night of 30th March, however we are able to offer free transport to Oxford for the night of 31st March for those participants that are also attending the conference.

Best Wishes
