[RASMB] Workshop announcement

Dear RASMBers:"Fluorescence Spectroscopy of Ligand Binding," a two-day,
intensive workshop focused on pharmaceutical applications, will be held at
the University of New Hampshire July 8-9, 2003, sponsored by the
Biomolecular Interaction Technologies Center, www.bitc.unh.edu. Instructors
and topics: 1) Zygmunt Gryczynski of the Center for Fluorescence
Spectroscopy, University of Maryland, on experimental design, polarization
and equilibrium binding assays; 2) Nancy Thompson, U. North Carolina, on
total internal reflectance fluorescence microscopy; and 3) Joseph Beechem,
Molecular Probes, on high-throughput screening assays. Workshop features
small hands-on sessions, lectures and panel discussions. Fee is $1,000,
includes meals, equipment, materials. For information or to register, email
