Dear colleagues, dear Dave Scott,...(Hi)
over years we used at the Biozentrum for student courses and
other studies 0.74 mL /gr, and got
Mw masses of 64 Kda + / - 1 at the linear OD 410, 540 range in
PBS 7.4 or similar buffers.
One have to take in consideration that at extreme Low concentration the
molecule dissociates to 2 subunits, and at high salt 0r extreme pH's
the dissociation starts even at normal concentrations. We have also to
pay attention that at high salt hydration shifts to the range of
0.78 as other proteins do.

Values can be found e.g. in a book or ask the author (you know him!)
for a copy of the
  pages of interest)

In Press of BBA is a new article using 0.74 :

Towards a resolution of the long-standing controversy regarding the
molecular mass of extracellular erythrocruorin of the earthworm Lumbricus
terrestris
