An update to version 1.07 of SEDNTERP is now available on the RASMB server
or at www.jphilo.mailway.com/download This version makes it easier to paste
amino acid sequences copied from databases into the program and fixes some
minor bugs, as noted below.

This update only alters the program .exe file, so if the program is already
installed you only need to download the 224 KB SDNUPDAT.EXE archive.

Best regards to all,

John Philo

-------------
Improved features:

1) Improved importing of amino acid sequences via the Windows Clipboard. For
sequences in single-letter code, the import routine now ignores all
characters that are not valid single-letter codes. That means you can
directly copy and paste sequences from databases such as SWISS-PROT that
intersperse lines containing sequence numbering in between the lines
containing the actual sequence, without intermediate editing to remove the
non-sequence information.

2) The buffer pH can now be entered directly on the buffer composition form,
no longer requiring returning to the main form to specify the pH before
saving the buffer entry into the user database.

Bugs fixed:

1) On the sample composition form the numbers entered for the moles of amino
acids or conjugates sometimes ended up in the wrong column. Selecting more
than one row in those entry areas would sometimes cause a program crash.

2) Fixed logic bug that blocked graphs of molecular shape or axial ratio vs.
hydration when the s(20,w) value was entered manually by the user rather
than calculated internally from a raw sedimentation coefficient.
