Thanks for the reply, Kathryn. I'm slowly getting all the facts on
our 'case', and John Philo's input made clear what a tweaky and
tenuous fit is involved in getting the hardware and software to
cooperate. First off, all I thought was necessary was just to put a
new high capacity HD in the old W95 computer. We even had it
networked with nary a problem. Guess we didn't know how good we had
it. But recently our Beckman rep _supposedly_ told us we SHOULD get
a newer computer and put W98 on it! This is where the debate gets
hot. But our rep will be here tomorrow and I guess we'll get the
whole story together, agree on the best solution, and then everyone
can be happy again :0)

For now, we are redoing the 'old' setup but with more HD capacity and
should be back in business soon.

Kind Regards,
Michael
